I have always been a fan of metallics but ever since these shiny sandals arrived at my door my inner magpie has gone into overdrive.
As you can see from the silver finery and Andy Warhol vibes my love of metallics is not limited to footwear. When it comes to jewellery I have always preferred subtle, classic pieces such as my favourite 'C' necklace that was given to me by Max during previous Big Apple adventures.
On that note I am in a New York State of mind...

Those sandals are awesome! I was on a huge metalics kick through the holidays - my metal of choice was that brassy gold that you can find just about everywhere here in the states. I think as it turns into summer here I'll move towards silver for summer!

Silver sandals, I love it. I used to have some gold ones which I completely wore through, and they were such a subtle metallic addition to my outfit. And of course went with everything.
