The Akira installation was truly mesmerising on the final day of fashion week.
In terms of creativity and design aesthetic the collection really spoke to me, with its barrier reef colour palette, amazing textures and multidimensional details.
I was blown away by the intricacy of each piece, particularly the coral-esque embellishments, petal detailing and elaborate stitching. Each piece had such great depth that transformed from front to back.
Also after experiencing that masterpiece of a blue Japanese style hat, I am definitely thinking I need to incorporate more headwear into my wardrobe.
What does this collection 'say' to you?

Damnit, I so wish I got to see this show - it looked incredible. You should post that photo of you and Bryan Boy too, haha.
