Next up from MBFWA through the Dark Blue Stripes lens is an installation of printed proportions from Dylan Cooper.
The 21-year-old young gun and Project Runway Australia winner made his fashion week debut with a SS12/13 collection consisting of mixed prints, colour blocking, and sharp, well executed tailoring.
My eye was immediately drawn to the amazing depth and texture of the garments, created through the use of peplums layered pleating. Desperately need to incorporate some peplum and pleat love in my wardrobe.
Whilst I am generally not a fan of pink that in your face fuchsia power suit would be the perfect ensemble to kick ass in a Mad Men-esque presentation. Yeah it pretty much always comes back to Mad Men with me.
